If you attended last year’s Slow Dinner at Crooked Gap Farm, (pictured, right) you will remember what an incredible meal we had, and what a lovely evening it was.
Even shy people like yours truly sat by some incredibly nice people, like the Gustafsons from Story City Locker, the Reicherts (of Reichert’s Dairy-aire fame), and the McKays from Peace Tree Brewery. That much food-making genius, and that much shared love of good food within conversation’s reach, made it easy to forget that I’m awkward in a crowd, and that it’s hard to make small talk. (Food talk is a universal language, and puts us all at ease, I guess).
At any rate, this year’s Slow Dinner promises to be every bit as delightful as the one that came before.
Hope to see you there! – elisabeth
*Transportation to/from the farm is not included with the ticket. We encourage folks to carpool together to Cherry Glen Learning Farm.
